Welcome to the School of Neurotherapy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, courses, digital materials, workshops, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”). By enrolling in any course, registering for an event, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to these Terms in full.

- Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to enroll in or attend our courses. By using our Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and agree to comply with these Terms.
- Enrollment, Attendance, and Account Access
- To participate in our courses or events, you may need to register for an account and provide accurate, complete information.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
- Courses may be delivered online, in person, or in a hybrid format. Attendance options will be clearly stated at the time of enrollment.
- In-person attendees agree to comply with all venue policies, health and safety regulations, and any other reasonable instructions provided by School of Neurotherapy staff or instructors.
- Online and Hybrid participants must ensure they have reliable internet access and technology suitable for participating in live sessions.
- Affiliate Instructors and Guest Presenters
- The School of Neurotherapy works with affiliate instructors, guest lecturers, and collaborating professionals (“Affiliate Instructors”) to deliver specialized content.
- All Affiliate Instructors represent their professional expertise independently and agree to uphold our standards of ethics, confidentiality, and accuracy.
- While we strive to ensure quality and consistency, the School of Neurotherapy is not liable for statements, advice, or opinions expressed by Affiliate Instructors that fall outside our approved educational materials or guidelines.
- Payments, Fees, and Refund Policy
- Fees for each course or event will be displayed at the time of registration. All payments must be completed before access is granted.
- Refunds are available according to our Refund Policy, provided on our website or upon request.
- We reserve the right to modify course fees at any time; however, price changes will not affect confirmed enrollments.
- Registration fees cover only the course and materials specified. Travel, accommodation, and other expenses for in-person attendance are the responsibility of the participant.
- Course Access and Copyrighted Materials
- Enrollment grants a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access purchased course materials for individual educational use.
- All course content—including lectures, videos, handouts, assessments, and recordings—is the intellectual property of the School of Neurotherapy or its licensors.
- You may not reproduce, share, record, distribute, or publicly display any portion of the content without prior written authorization.
- Unauthorized use, recording, or distribution of course materials may result in immediate termination of access without refund and possible legal action.
- Affiliate Instructors retain rights to their own original teaching materials, but by participating, they grant the School of Neurotherapy a non-exclusive license to use, record, and distribute the content for educational purposes within programs of the school.
- Code of Conduct and Professional Integrity
Participants agree to:
- Engage respectfully and professionally with instructors, staff, and fellow students.
- Avoid discriminatory, disruptive, or harassing behavior in any form.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information shared by peers or instructors.
- Refrain from using the School of Neurotherapy name, logo, or affiliations inappropriately or for self-promotion without permission.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate participation if these standards are violated.
- Confidentiality, Student Data, and Client Case Information
We take data protection and professional ethics seriously.
- Student Data Protection
- Personal information collected during enrollment or participation (such as contact details, attendance records, or course progress) is stored securely and used solely for educational administration.
- We comply with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR, CPRA, and HIPAA to ensure your personal data is processed lawfully and confidentially.
- Client Data and Case Study Confidentiality
- Many participants are practicing clinicians or trainees who may present anonymized client cases for educational discussion.
- All participants must remove identifying details (e.g., names, dates, locations, and unique identifiers) from any case material before sharing.
- Discussion of case studies is permitted for educational purposes only and must remain strictly confidential. Recording or redistributing these sessions without consent is prohibited.
- Platform Privacy
- Live, online and hybrid sessions are recorded for educational use by the School of Neurotherapy. Participants are notified in advance that sessions are being recorded.
- By attending a recorded session, you consent to such recording for educational and archival purposes. To opt out, Â contact School of Neurotherapy before the session.
- Certification and Continuing Education
- Certificates of completion (where applicable) are awarded only after fulfilling all course requirements, including attendance, participation, and assessments.
- The School of Neurotherapy reserves the right to deny certification to any participant who fails to meet academic, ethical, or behavioral standards.
- Continuing education credits (where applicable) are awarded at the discretion of an outside governing agency, not by the School of Neurotherapy. Â Participants are considered for qualification after fulfilling all course requirements, including proof of attendance and participation.

- Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- All materials and instruction are for educational purposes only and do not constitute medical, diagnostic, or therapeutic advice.
- Application of neurotherapy, neurofeedback, or related techniques must occur only within each participant’s legal and professional scope of practice.
- The School of Neurotherapy and its affiliates are not responsible for misuse of information, adverse outcomes, or damages arising from course content or participation.
- In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount paid by you for the course in question.

- Termination and Access Revocation
We may suspend or revoke access to School of Neurotherapy if:
- You violate these Terms, engage in misconduct, or breach confidentiality;
- Required payments are not completed;
- You misuse course materials or intellectual property.
Upon termination, your access to all online portals and materials will cease immediately, and no refund will be issued except as required by law.
- Updates to Terms and Course Policies
We may revise these Terms periodically. The updated version will be posted on our website with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
- Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of California, in the United States. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California, County of Santa Barbara, unless otherwise required by law.

Optional Addendum – Media and Recording Policy
Participants may not record any portion of live or in-person classes without express permission. The School of Neurotherapy reserves the right to record live sessions for internal educational use and quality assurance. Participants appearing in video or audio recordings grant the School of Neurotherapy a non-exclusive right to use the content for training, review, and certification purposes.
