11_24 NeuroField Advanced Training: 3-Day Immersion Santa Barbara, CA (November 4 - 6, 2024)

The NeuroField Neuromodulation Advanced Training 3-Day Immersion is designed to enhance your skills in EEG and QEEG assessment, analysis, map interpretation, neuromodulation, and treatment planning in the NeuroField64 software platform, Event-Related Potentials in NeuroField ERP, as well as Independent Components Analysis via Neurofield EEG.  Ideal for clinicians hungry for the latest innovations in computational neuroscience, ERPs and neurostimulation.

Case studies are welcome.

This training is for intermediate to advanced neurotherapy clinicians.

It is strongly advised that a Neurofield Bootcamp be attended before the Advanced Workshop.

NeuroField64 combines Pulsed Electromagnetic Field stimulation (pEMF), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), and transcranial random noise stimulation (tRNS), and transcranial Advanced Pink Noise Stimulation (tAPNS) modalities with photobiomodulation for the purpose of enhancing treatment effectiveness.

This three-day training will cover how to get the most out of clinically applied neurostimulation, collect a 37-channel EEG, read EEG and review QEEG brain maps, generate a treatment plan, set up NeuroField64 for synchronized stimulation with EEG neurofeedback, and administer effective treatment. Dr. Nicholas Dogris and Dr. Tiff Thompson will lecture on current applications and research that shows how pEMF, tDCS/tACS/tRNS/tAPNS affects the brain and mind.

New additions to this training include:

  • The new AI profiler: Phase Amplitude Coupling (PAC)
  • The EEGLab pipeline (for NFEEG and NFERP)
  • Protocol blends
  • The stimulation targeting tool
  • Protocol selection and creation

Dr. Dogris and Dr. Thompson will lecture regarding the application of NeuroField64 on various clinical diagnoses, based on what the attendees deem most important. Dr. Dogris and Dr. Thompson will conduct live demonstrations of NeuroField64 and provide participants the opportunity to experience these modalities during the training.

This training is suited for clinicians looking to weave neurostimulation into their practice. This modality stands alone as an effective method of treatment and is known for the speed at which it can induce change in patients. Neuromodulation is very different than neurofeedback and, for this reason, works as both an alternative, as well as an adjunct to a neurofeedback or biofeedback practice.

At the advanced level, clinicians come in with their requests and these are fulfilled throughout the workshop. Some of the most commonly requested information is: 1) protocol selection and decision tree, 2) profiling of different disorders, 3) how to read ICAs, 4) power-power coupling synchrony index interpretation, 5) the use of EEGlab inside Neurofield, 6) ERP101. That said, please come prepared with your questions and requests and we will do our best to satisfy each student.

About CE Credits:

NOTE:  Per AAPB requirement: Your request for CE Credits, including the completions of all required steps,  MUST be received by School of Neurotherapy  NO LATER than 12:00pm (PT), 1 week (7 days) from the conclusion of relevant program. NO EXCEPTIONS

The School of Neurotherapy is proud to offer CE Credits for the  Advanced Training 3-Day Immersion, respectively, and individually.

17 CE Credits are available for attending the Advanced Training program in its entirety.

CE Credits are sponsored by AAPB (Association of Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback), which is approved by the APA (American Psychological Association) for sponsoring continuing education for psychologists. This program in its entirety offers up to 17 CE Credits for Advanced Training.  You must have attended the live delivery of the entirety of the presentations offered in person or by virtual attendance in order to qualify for CE credits.

The AAPB maintains responsibility for each program and its content. There is no known commercial support for this program.

PLEASE READ DETAILS BELOW.

To acquire your CE Credits:

WHAT YOU DO:

WHAT WE DID to get approved to offer you these CE Credits:

The CE Credit Process Explained:

The School of Neurotherapy must comply with strict requirements in order to qualify and be granted permission to offer CE Credits.

This process requires: compilation and submission of curricula; course agenda; course topics; course synopsis/description; and for every presenter / instructor: curriculum vitae; numerous published and peer reviewed references for each topic presented; and at least 3 specific, and clearly stated learning objectives for every hour of presentation / instruction.

Once The School of Neurotherapy meets the above listed requirements, along with other qualifying requirements, we receive approval from AAPB to offer CE Credits. This process of compilation, submission and approval is required for every hour of lecture, instruction, course or class provided throughout each year, for which CE Credits are offered.

Your CE Credits will be approved and granted at the discretion of The AAPB.

AAPB is a co-sponsor of the Advanced Training | 3-Day Immersion
