with Dr. Tiff Thompson, QEEG-D., BCN, PhD., LMFT

Recordings are available for each session, after it concludes.

This lecture explores the EEG signatures associated with autism spectrum conditions, including Asperger’s syndrome and broader neurodivergent presentations. Individuals on the spectrum often show unique EEG features such as excessive coherence, frontal hyperconnectivity, atypical alpha or mu rhythm suppression, and delays in sensory processing. We’ll also discuss ERP findings (e.g., delayed N170) relevant to social and emotional processing. Clinicians will gain insights into how these patterns relate to sensory sensitivity, communication differences, and emotional regulation—and how EEG can guide personalized neurofeedback protocols for this population.

This monthly lecture series presented by Dr. Tiff Thompson, a seasoned clinician and educator in the fields of neuroanalysis, EEG, and mental health, spotlights a specific neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorder, providing in-depth clinical insight into its presentation, pathophysiology, and relevance to neurotherapy.
