Recordings are available for each session, after it concludes.

This lecture examines the neurophysiological underpinnings of learning disabilities, including dyslexia, dyscalculia, and nonverbal learning disorder, through EEG interpretation. These conditions often involve disrupted connectivity and atypical hemispheric activity, particularly in regions associated with language, attention, and executive function. Attendees will explore the characteristic EEG markers such as elevated theta/beta ratios, reduced coherence, and delays in ERP components like the P300. Understanding these profiles can guide clinicians in differentiating between learning disorders and attentional or behavioral issues, and in designing targeted interventions using neurofeedback and neurostimulation.

This monthly lecture series presented by Dr. Tiff Thompson, a seasoned clinician and educator in the fields of neuroanalysis, EEG, and mental health, spotlights a specific neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorder, providing in-depth clinical insight into its presentation, pathophysiology, and relevance to neurotherapy.
