with Dr. Tiff Thompson, QEEG-D., BCN, PhD., LMFT
Recordings are available for each session, after it concludes.
In this October session, we explore the distinct EEG profiles of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Hallmarks include elevated theta/beta ratios, frontal hypoactivation, and delayed ERP components such as P300 and CNV. We’ll discuss the various ADHD subtypes—hyperactive, inattentive, and combined—and their associated neurophysiological patterns. Clinicians will gain skills to differentiate ADHD from anxiety and learning disorders and learn how to use EEG as a guide for customizing neurofeedback and neurostimulation interventions to improve attention, impulse control, and executive function.
This monthly lecture series presented by Dr. Tiff Thompson, a seasoned clinician and educator in the fields of neuroanalysis, EEG, and mental health, spotlights a specific neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorder, providing in-depth clinical insight into its presentation, pathophysiology, and relevance to neurotherapy.
