In this highly practical session of Neurostim for Clinical Profiles, Dr. Nicholas Dogris and Dr. Tiff Thompson explore the neurophysiological patterns underlying ADHD, one of the most commonly diagnosed neurodevelopmental conditions in both children and adults. ADHD is far from a one-size-fits-all diagnosis—presenting with varying degrees of inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity—each of which can be traced to distinct EEG markers, such as elevated theta/beta ratios, frontal underactivation, and delayed ERP responses related to attention and inhibition.
This lecture centers on how neurostimulation can be used to support brain regulation, executive function, and attentional control in individuals with ADHD. Attendees will learn how to interpret core EEG features of ADHD and design customized neuromodulation protocols using tACS, pEMF, and other modalities available through NeuroField. By targeting the underlying dysregulation in cortical arousal and connectivity, neurostimulation offers a powerful adjunct or alternative to traditional treatment approaches. Whether you're working with children, adolescents, or adults, this session equips you with tools to bring greater focus, balance, and cognitive flexibility to your ADHD clients.
This lecture series features Nick and Tiff together. Tiff will detail the profiles seen in various conditions and Nick will discuss protocols that he finds most effective in changing the condition’s presentation and its corollary symptoms.
