with Dr. Tiff Thompson, QEEG-D., BCN, PhD., LMFT

Recordings are available for each session, after it concludes.

This session focuses on the neurological consequences of brain injury, including concussion, mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), and stroke. EEG profiles in these cases often reflect diffuse slowing, decreased coherence, disrupted alpha rhythms, and persistent asymmetries. We’ll review how different types of injury—cortical vs. subcortical, focal vs. diffuse—present distinct EEG patterns and how these patterns evolve over time. Attendees will learn how to interpret EEG findings in the context of clinical symptoms and use this data to inform recovery timelines, cognitive rehabilitation, and neuromodulatory interventions.

This monthly lecture series presented by Dr. Tiff Thompson, a seasoned clinician and educator in the fields of neuroanalysis, EEG, and mental health, spotlights a specific neurological, psychiatric, or neurodevelopmental disorder, providing in-depth clinical insight into its presentation, pathophysiology, and relevance to neurotherapy.
