Superpower Your Neurotherapy: Combining Other Approaches for Breakthrough Outcomes

In the ever-evolving field of neurotherapy, practitioners are increasingly aware that the brain does not heal in isolation. To unlock the full potential of neurotherapy, we must understand and integrate the complex, interconnected systems that influence brain function. In this dynamic and practical session, we explore how understanding the underlying biochemical and physical components of dysfunction profoundly enhances therapeutic outcomes.

Drilling into key clinical domains, we will examine:

  • Biochemical Foundations: Explore how mineral imbalances, heavy metal toxicity, environmental pollutants, methylation dysfunction, hormonal dysregulation, and unresolved head injuries can silently sabotage neurotherapy progress—and what to do about it.

  • Physical considerations: Covering some of the structural body-based approaches including electroceutical approaches to stress stored in the body.

This lecture will present an integrative clinical roadmap for neurotherapy practitioners who want to know other modalities that they can either include or refer out for.. Attendees will leave with actionable strategies to identify hidden barriers to progress.

About Elizabeth:

Dr. Elizabeth Harris has worked in general practice for 20 years and holds further qualifications in complimentary health and functional medicine. She has a passion for emergency medicine and rural medicine having worked in small towns both in New Zealand and the Australian Outback. For the past 10 years she has also been working in the new area of brainwave biofeedback using the latest technology in medical EEG recording which allows for "brain mapping" and training of brain waves to address brain related conditions such as ADHD, depression, anxiety and traumatic brain injury.
In 2017 Dr. Harris became the first New Zealand Board Certified Neurotherapist, and recently opened the first private clinic in the country to offer LORETA neurotherapy. With an interest in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Fibromyalgia, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and chronic unexplained illness, Dr. Harris combines an individualized biochemical and genetic approach with brain health measures and interventions in an aim to address previously unresolved medical symptoms and conditions.
