Obsessive Compulsive Disorders

June 5, 2025 2:00PM - 4:00PM

Dr. Tiff Thompson and Dr. Nicholas Dogris will focus on the clinical profile of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.  Obsessions and compulsions are learned behaviors, which become repetitive and habitual when they are associated with relief from anxiety. In this session, Tiff and Nick will look at the genetic and hereditary factors, as well as chemical, structural and functional abnormalities in the brain that may contribute to OCD. Addressing the distorted beliefs that can reinforce and maintain symptoms associated with OCD, learn how neurostimulation can affect the time-consuming symptoms that characterize OCD, and cause significant distress or interfere with daily life.

This lecture series features Nick and Tiff, together. Tiff will detail the profiles seen in various conditions and Nick will discuss protocols he finds most effective in changing the condition’s presentation and its corollary symptoms.
