Depression

Thursday | October 16, 2025 | 9:00 am – 11:00am PST

This month Nick and Tiff will  take a closer look at the complex landscape of depression through the lens of EEG and neurostimulation, in this special 2-hour session.

Dr. Nick Dogris and Dr. Tiff Thompson will guide you through the current literature on depressive disorders, exploring how neurophysiological markers reveal distinct EEG profiles. From asymmetrical alpha activity and vigilance lability to hypercoherent alpha patterns and central beta spindles, and they’ll break down the recognized subtypes of depression and their clinical significance. This lecture will also connect these profiles to emerging strategies in neurostimulation—helping clinicians better tailor treatment protocols to individual presentations of mood dysregulation, in this special 2-hour session.

This lecture series features Nick and Tiff together.  Tiff will detail the profiles seen in various conditions and Nick will discuss protocols that he finds most effective in changing the condition’s presentation and its corollary symptoms.
