Drs. Dogris and Thompson will focus on the clinical profile of Chronic Pain. Chronic pain is a debilitating condition that involves pain that lasts more than a few months, or longer than the typical recovery period for an injury or health condition. It can manifest in many ways such as burning, aching, stinging, tingling, or a prickly sensation, which can be consistent or intermittent. Chronic pain can affect an individual’s ability to work, eat properly, or enjoy life. Chronic pain can have many causes, including Injuries, Infections, Arthritis, Cancer, Environmental factors, and Psychological factors. Chronic pain is a major medical condition that can be treated, and there are many different treatments available.
This lecture series features Nick and Tiff together. Tiff will detail the profiles seen in various conditions and Nick will discuss protocols that he finds most effective in changing the condition’s presentation and its corollary symptoms.
