Santa Barbara, CA at the NeuroField Neurotherapy Clinic
November 11 - 15, 2024
(In-Person & Online)
The NeuroField Bootcamp Training 5-Day Immersion is more than just a refresher for clinicians who have completed previous training. This 5-day seminar is designed to get clinicians and technicians up to speed on the use of noise (pink/ brown/white) in the clinical application of stimulation, using photobiomodulation (PBM), transcranial vagus nerve stimulation( tVNS), and), and enable each participant to create their own customized protocols for their clients. Additionally, this deep dive goes beyond simple EEG and QEEG analysis into the advanced techniques of Independent Components Analysis and Event-Related Potential testing in our EEG and ERP software, for a higher level of applied computational neuroscience.
Designed with clinicians of all levels in mind, this introductory course will teach you multiple techniques and procedures through didactic lectures and hands-on training.
Dr. Nicholas Dogris and Dr. Tiff Thompson will teach advanced neurostimulation, analysis, and neurostimulatin procedures from the ground up. This intensive experience will challenge you and help you advance your knowledge in the field of neuromodulation and neurostimulation.
We will begin the training by teaching you how to use the EEG software platform, including raw analysis and the generation of quantitative data in the form of power analyses and Independent Components Analysis. This process is the first step in the decision tree of how to treat the condition at hand.
This Bootcamp combines a series of forms of neuromodulation: Pulsed Electro Magnetic Field stimulation (pEMF), photobiomodulation (PBM), transcranial vagus nerve stimulation (tVNS), transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS), Pink Noise and Brown Noise, as well as transcranial Random Noise stimulation (tRNS) modalities.
In-person attendance is highly recommended as the afternoon portion of each day is meant for hand-on learning and practice.
Included is a "Prep Before the Bootcamp" meeting on October 29th, 2024 @ 9:00am PST.
In this 60min meeting, you will be guided through what to expect during the bootcamp and how you can best prepare for the training. You will learn which units and treatment supplies will be used for the training and present any questions you may have.
If you are unable to attend live, this will be recorded and available for viewing.
After registering, you will have access to the course agenda, recommended readings and supplies in your Member Library.
You will also receive a welcome email that contains the event address, nearby hotels, and important dates.
Presentation Level: INTRODUCTORY - Content is designed for psychologists who may have little to no background in a specialized skill or content area. Through this level of programming, the learner can become acquainted with the theoretical underpinnings, principles, methods, and perspectives of a content area. An introductory level program also may serve as the foundation for subsequent intermediate and advanced learning. Introductory level programming may also be related to an emerging area of knowledge or practice. Although this content can be used as a foundation for more advanced learning, an introductory level program may simply focus on breadth, enrichment or general knowledge.
Registration Policy: Registrations are first come, first served. Once payment is received your seat in the training will be confirmed.
Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your registration up to 30 days prior to the event. Refunds or exchanges are granted only 30 days prior to the event or earlier.
